Who is BioSkin?
BioSkin is both a family-owned company and a world leader in the design of orthopedic braces and sports medicine products. For 25 years, we have designed premium sports medicine products for professional sports teams, orthopedic clinics, and active people all over the world.
What makes our face masks the best for everyday wear?
At the start of the pandemic, we began manufacturing face masks out of some of the same hypoallergenic materials we use in our bracing products. We quickly developed a lightweight, breathable and comfortable mask that could easily be worn for long periods of time. The next step was to make sure our breathable masks were also effective through laboratory testing on our fabrics for filtration efficiency. We now offer three styles of extremely popular face masks that balance breathability and efficacy. They come in a wide variety of colorful prints, making it easy and fun to do the right thing and wear a mask.
BioSkin masks are breathable and effective, comfortable to wear, and come in colorful options.
Breathable & Effective
We’ve had all of our fabrics tested at Nelson Labs, one of the most credible testing laboratories in the world. Nelson Labs used a Bacterial Filtration Efficiency (BFE) test to study the effectiveness of BioSkin fabrics against an aerosolized pathogen. This test is used for devices that are designed to provide protection against biological aerosols, such as face masks, surgical masks, gowns, caps and air filters. Learn more here.
Comfortable to wear
Our ear loop masks strike the perfect balance between breathability and efficacy. Made with a polyester-lycra blend, they are soft against the skin and have stretch for added comfort. They are available in youth and child sizes.
Colorful Prints
With over 30 colors and patterns to choose from, there’s something for everyone.
Made in the USA
All of our masks are made in Oregon and California and ship from Oregon. We offer free shipping via the USPS.
Giving Back
To date, BioSkin has donated more than $125,000 from the proceeds of mask sales to organizations providing hunger relief during this unprecedented crisis. We’ve also donated to help people impacted by the wildfires that destroyed thousands of homes in Southern Oregon, including four of our employees.
