Spinal Stenosis
Spinal Stenosis is a narrowing of the open space located throughout the vertebrae. It is most commonly seen in the cervical and lumbar region of the spine. As the spaces begin to narrow, more and more pressure is put on the spinal cord and the nerves that branch off of it. This is what causes the pain, numbness, or tingling felt throughout the body. Spinal Stenosis can be congenital but is most often related to osteoarthritis, or a "wear and tear" of the spine over time. BioSkin Back Braces treat Spinal Stenosis with vectored, targeted compression designed to reduce inflammation and relieve the pressure put on the low back nerves.
